Chris Pither is back on the full-time Supercars grid after a three-year absence.
“You never stop learning in this game and for me I’ve grown since 2016,”
he said.
“I feel good and I’m looking forward to getting stuck right into it.”
It was Pither’s outings for Garry Rogers Motorsport filling in for an injured Richie Stanaway that caught the attention of Team Sydney.
Pither won the Super2 Series back in 2018 and has been a frequent co-driver across an impressive tenure.
The team also appreciated that Pither is no rookie to the sport, but a proven driver capable of racing against the best the series has to offer.
Pither turned 27 laps, the least of any driver, at the 2020 pre-season test today at The Bend.
But the kiwi will be back on the grid in Adelaide this week ready to prove why he is deserved of this full-time seat.
