James Courtney is set to run in Boost Mobile colours at this weekend’s Superloop Adelaide 500.
Both Courtney and teammate Chris Pither ran Team Sydney’s Coca-Cola inspired livery at the season launch event in Sydney and the pre-season test at Tailem Bend last Tuesday.
But the team has never been clear as to the exact details of the deal between themselves and the popular soft-drink brand.
Boost Mobile had been rumoured to become the title sponsor for Courtney for 2020. The Tech-mobile company having been linked with the 2010 champion since 2017.
Boost Mobile had a shaky deal as title sponsor with Garry Rogers Motorsport last year that ended when Boost Mobile CEO Peter Adderton’s plans to fund a category-wide move to control upright package was blocked by Supercars management.
The exact livery that Courtney will race this weekend will be revealed when he wheels out for tomorrow’s opening practice session.
