WATCH: ‘Mad Mike’ Whiddett debuts Lamborghini Huracán in new viral video

‘Mad Mike’ Whiddett has given fans their first glimpse of his brand new Lamborghini Huracán in action before the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

In radical Red Bull fashion, Whiddett was pipped against Dakar rally winner Eduard Nikolaev in his Team Kamaz Master Truck for a viral video ahead of the big weekend.

The Lamborghini Huracán is the latest addition to Whiddett’s MADLAB stable. Rather fittingly he’s nicknamed it ‘NIMBUL’ ahead of it’s official debut.

The car sports a Liberty Walk body kit and a raft of changes to the suspension and engine bay, including a new exhaust system.

“Bringing the NIMBUL to life is a dream come true for me,” Whiddett said. “Ever since I can remember, I’ve always wanted to create a drift-ready supercar.

“It took four weeks to turn the Huracan into the NIMBUL and I can’t wait to let it loose in front of the crowds at the Festival of Speed.

“It’s so different to anything else, and the vehicles involved are mind blowing.”

It’s the first car in Whiddett’s cache of cars that isn’t either rotary-powered or by Mazda.

It was at last year's Saturday night ball at the Goodwood Festival of Speed where Whiddett was introduced to fellow party goer Lamborghini CEO Stefano Domenicali. He asked if Whiddett could top his MADBUL Mazda RX7 Gen 7.3 creation.

A couple of months later, Whiddett was on a 26-hour flight to Lamborghini's factory in Bologna, Italy where he was given the keys to the iconic Lamborghini Huracán.
