Monster Energy Mustang livery revealed

Monster Energy backed Cameron Waters has revealed a largely untouched livery for the 2020 Supercars season.

The Ford Mustang is the first of three Tickford Mustangs to be unveiled.

The matt-black and green highlights make the Waters' Mustang one of the most spectacular liveries on the grid.

The 2020 car does, however, receive a unique green-coloured grille which blends in nicely with the fearsome green headlights that remain from last year.

The other major difference is that this year’s Monster Energy Mustang’s livery boasts being painted directly onto the car rather than a wrap.

Waters had a largely successful 2019 campaign with six podium finishes and completing the season seventh in the standings, his best finish to date.

Though Waters wants to target the top-step of the rostrum in 2020, confident that his speed from last year can be carried over right from the season opener in Adelaide.

“I’m definitely pumped to be starting my fifth season with Tickford Racing and Monster Energy, and I’m stoked to kick the season off next week in Adelaide,” said Waters.

Waters will be teamed up Lee Holdsworth and Jack Le Brocq whose car reveals are expected to occur sometime this week.

The Monster Energy Mustang will hit the track at the BP Ultimate SuperTest at The Bend Motorsport Park on Tuesday next week.
