Williams Racing reveal new sponsor and livery for 2019

Williams Racing have revealed ROKiT will be the naming rights sponsors for the team in this year’s Formula 1 World Championship.


The livery for their 2019 challenger was revealed at the Williams factory using a modified 2018 car as the base for the livery. The new-look car will be revealed during pre-season testing in Spain next week.


ROKiT Williams Racing are one of five teams to have a completely new line-up. Robert Kubica and Formula 2 Championwhip winner George Russell join the team with Lance Stroll headed for Racing Point F1 Team (formerly known as Sahara Force India F1 Team) and Sergey Sirotkin leaving the sport.

Global telecommunications company ROKiT come on-board with Williams Racing following the exit of Martini at the end of last year.


ROKiT are a new telecommunicatiosn brand described as “challenging the status quo, offering premium smartphone technology, performance and design at an affordable price and installing innovative Wi-Fi networks to make the world a better place.”


Currently ROKiT are rolling out public Wi-Fi networks across 27 cities in India. They aim to create more smart cities in 10 other countries over the next three years.




ROKiT is the brainchild of philanthropist and business innovator, John Paul DeJoria (Patron Tequila, Paul Mitchell) and British entrepreneur Jonathan Kendrick. Kendrick engineered the tyres of Alan Jones’ race car at the 1978 Argentine Grand Prix in Buenos Aires.
