Todd Hazelwood reveals preliminary livery ahead of test

Matt Stone Racing (MSR) have revealed the livery for Todd Hazelwood’s Holden Commodore ZB, but it could still yet change.

The ex-Jamie Whincup car will run in a new black and silver scheme at this week’s Virgin Australia Supercars Championship pre-season test. However, it is expected the livery will get a tweak before the opening round in Adelaide.

A new naming-rights sponsor is set to be announced prior to the Superloop Adelaide 500.

Last year Hazelwood made his full-time Supercars Championship debut with MSR in a Ford Falcon FG X. The team swapped back to their championship-winner Dunlop Super2 Series Commodore VF after a troubled start with the Falcon platform.

Bigmate were primary backers in last year’s championship but take a back seat alongside Optus, iSeek and apparel newcomers UNIT for this season.

“UNIT not only brings their top-quality apparel to the partnership, but a highly skilled creative and design team that has helped deliver a new look both on and off the track," team owner Matt Stone said.

"We are excited about 2019 and look forward to delivering the on track results to reward our fans and partners faith in us."

MSR aren’t the only team fielding preliminary liveries, Garry Rogers Motorsport will run with an alternative livery at the Phillip Island test.

Liveries from Brad Jones Racing, Kelly Racing, Tickford Racing and 23Red Racing will be revealed between now and the start of the test.
