The 2023 Formula 1 season is fast approaching with team car launches and liveries now flowing out by the day.

It won’t be long until we see them all together out on track either as we’re just over a week away from the pre-season test at Bahrain from 23 to 25 February.

Just two teams are left to launch their entries for this year so let’s take a look at what has been revealed so far.

MoneyGram Haas F1 Team

The first team to launch its car for this year is the MoneyGram Haas F1 Team which will employ Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hulkenberg as its drivers.

It’s VF-23 entry has been clad in a familiar black, red, and white colour scheme with the logo of new title sponsor MoneyGram taking pride of place on the car’s engine cover.

“I was very pleased to welcome MoneyGram as title partner for the 2023 season and beyond, and it’s exciting to see our first livery unveiled together as MoneyGram Haas F1 Team,” said Gene Haas, Chairman of MoneyGram Haas F1 Team.

Oracle Red Bull Racing

Next to reveal its new car was Oracle Red Bull Racing in which reigning world champion Max Verstappen and teammate Sergio “Checo” Perez will campaign in 2023.

The RB19 bares a similar appearance to Red Bull liveries of the past with the iconic red, yellow, and dark blue theme continuing.

Oracle Red Bull Racing will campaign three different liveries this year of which will be created by fans for each race in the US.

“At Oracle Red Bull Racing we always strive to do things first and do things differently. This is the first time we have launched our season outside of the UK and the first time any F1 Team has launched in the USA,” said Christian Horner, Team Principal and CEO of Oracle Red Bull Racing.

The team also announced Ford as their powertrain partner from 2026.

Williams Racing

Williams Racing was the third team to unveil its entry for this season, that being the FW45 in which Alex Albon and newcomer Logan Sargeant will both take the reigns of.

A familiar blue as found on last year’s car clads much of the exterior while the addition of more sponsors also appear including Gulf Oil. However, only a few light blue and orange stripes suggest influence from the oil brand.

“As Williams Racing continues its transformation, we’re proud to unveil this year’s livery. We are excited about this year’s car, and I cannot thank the entire team at Grove enough for their hard work to get ready for the season,” said Matthew Savage, Chairman of the Board at Williams Racing.

Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake

Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake unveiled its 2023 challenger, the C43, which will be driven by returning drivers Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu.

This year’s look is almost a flip of the last with the white of the previous car being swapped for black.

New title sponsor Stake also takes centre stage on the C43’s air pods, front, and rear wings.

“I am very proud of what we have achieved over these last months, because creating a new car is always a massive effort from the team,” said Jan Monchaux, Technical Director of Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake.

“This car is an evolution of last year’s, reflecting the new regulations and introducing major changes in the areas where we found improvements to be needed.”

Scuderia AlphaTauri

Red Bull’s sister team Scuderia AlphaTauri also headed stateside for its new car launch, revealing the AT04 at the New York Fashion Week.

Yuki Tsunoda and rookie Nyck de Vries will both get behind the wheel of a familiar white and blue liveried car which now sports red highlights courtesy of new principal partner Orlen.

“As we know, Formula 1 has seen a huge increase in popularity due to the likes of Netflix and social media over the last few years. So, it’s extremely important that we continue to grow in this market, which is why I’m pleased we were able to launch our 2023 livery here today in New York City to show our appreciation to the US audience,” said Franz Tost, Scuderia AlphaTauri Team Principal.

Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula One Team

At its new headquarters in Silverstone, Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula One Team unveiled the AMR23 which will be piloted by Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll throughout 2023.

While it sports a similar livery to last year’s car, the team is adamant that the changes under its skin is where its potential winning ways reside.

“AMR23 is a significant development of the car we refined in the latter half of 2022 – and we have improved it in every critical area. It optimises the solutions we felt would offer us the most performance, and it embodies the joint vision we have embraced and have built together over the recent months,” said Dan Fallows, Technical Director.

McLaren Formula One Team

Lando Norris will be joined by newcomer Oscar Piastri at the McLaren Formula 1 Team which will celebrate its 60th anniversary this year.

In celebration, the team has called it’s 2023 entry the MCL60 which has been clad in the traditional Papaya orange colour with blue also working its way into the mix alongside the Chrome and Velo sponsorship logos.

“We are delighted to launch our 2023 Formula 1 team with Lando and Oscar at the wheel as we celebrate 60 years of McLaren Racing,” said Zak Brown, CEO of McLaren Racing.

“This year’s driver line-up is extremely exciting as Lando, an intelligent and confident driver with excellent pace, is joined by one of the biggest up-and-coming talents in motorsport with Oscar.”

Scuderia Ferrari

Scuderia Ferrari hit the ground running with the launch of the SF23 by treating 500 fans to a demonstration run of the car at the Fiorano test track.

Both Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz got amongst the crowd too, no doubt discussing the car’s fresh lick of red paint before each getting behind the wheel.

“Today we launch our 2023 contender together with our partners and tifosi, and I am very pleased with how the car looks. I love the red colour and the ‘Effe Lunga’ that spans across the rear wing, reminding us of our heritage,” said Frederic Vasseur, Team Principal of Scuderia Ferrari.

Still to come

We now await the reveal of Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team’s W14 entry in which Lewis Hamilton and George Russel will drive this year as well as Alpine F1 Team’s A523 driven by Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon.
