Andre Heimgartner’s revised 2025 livery revealed at Winton

Andre Heimgartner’s 2025 Brad Jones Racing R&J Batteries Chevrolet Camaro was unveiled this morning at Winton Motor Raceway, showcasing the familiar red and black colors along with a special twist for the upcoming season.

With title sponsor R&J Batteries celebrating their 30 year anniversary in 2025, to help celebrate milestone, the Camaro will feature the tagline ‘Celebrating 30 years, 1995-2025’ across the car for the duration of the season.

When asked of his thoughts on the revised paint scheme, Heimgartner replied “The car itself looks fantastic – the livery has had a bit of a refresh and it’s just stunning.”

Heimgartner enters his fourth season with R&J Batteries and the team, having secured a total of eleven podiums during their partnership so far.

The standout moment came last year when he clinched his first victory with the team in spectacular fashion during the inaugural Supercars meeting at Taupo Motorsport Park.

Heimgartner is hoping to build on that success heading into the new season.

“Coming into 2025 with a new chassis, new livery and the support from the team at R&J gives us a lot of confidence that we’re going in the right direction.

“I went into the off season feeling that there was more on the table for us which just adds to the fire in the belly for this year.

“Can’t wait to get racing and for some of the big events of this year. Returning to Taupo will be special and we all have our eye on the JR Trophy, that’s a big goal for this year. We came close in 2024, we were just a couple of points short in the end but that’s one that would be quite nice to win.”

Heimgartner will take the wheel of the new #8 R&J Batteries Camaro for the first time today during the cars Shakedown at Winton Motor Raceway. He’ll then join the rest of the 2025 grid at Sydney Motorsport Park next Wednesday for the official preseason test day.
