Sky Sport New Zealand will provide coverage of all six rounds of the championship via Sky Sport NZ and Sky Sport Now.

The broadcast will be fronted by renowned motorsport commentator Greg Rust, with broadcaster Richard Craill joining the coverage full-time. Racers Andrew Waite and Ronan Murphy will also return to the coverage this season, expanding on their roles in 2024/25.

Live streaming on a new Repco NextGen NZ Championship and existing TOYOTA GAZOO Racing New Zealand YouTube Channels will provide the live New Zealand and international coverage of each complete round for global audiences – especially those globally watching the Castrol Toyota Formula Regional Oceana Trophy races in January.

International coverage will also be available on motorsport.tv throughout the season, while Australian-specific coverage will be announced in due course.

The NextGen NZ is also proud to confirm that TOYOTA GAZOO Racing New Zealand will serve as the major Broadcast commercial partner for the duration of the 2025/26 season.

TOYOTA GAZOO Racing NZ has been a major partner since the foundation of the championship, and their support continuing into the new season will add to the coverage.

The Bridgestone GR86 Championship and Castrol Toyota Formula Regional Oceana Trophy will feature throughout as the next generation of Kiwi and international racing stars make their mark on the motorsport world once again.

More than 70 hours of live coverage will be broadcast across the six rounds this summer.

David Tunnicliffe – Head of Broadcast, Repco NextGen NZ Championship

“We’re proud to confirm our partnership with the home of live sport on New Zealand Television, Sky Sport NZ.

“Their commitment to the championship is a vote of confidence in the NextGen NZ Championship and the quality broadcast product we showcased throughout the debut season last summer – which will only get better this year.

“Coverage on Sky Sport will be coupled with global coverage via a new YouTube Channel and motorsport.tv.

“Our on-air team is the best in the business and we’re excited about what we have planned for this summer.”
