Kiwi driver Ryan Yardley claimed his second podium of the weekend at Road America, narrowing the championship gap to just two points.

A perfectly timed start saw Yardley swiftly overtake Riley Dickinson to claim second place, holding firm thereafter.
Madeline Stewart, however, wasn’t as fortunate, falling to 16th after being overtaken by Pro-Am drivers JP Martinez and Alan Metni.
An unseen incident at turn one left Rob Walker’s car damaged, forcing him off the track and into the pits for repairs.
At turn six, Todd Parriott was shoved into the barriers by Richard Edge, spinning hard into the wall before dragging his damaged car into the gravel trap. The lengthy recovery led to a prolonged safety car period.
When the race resumed 10 minutes later, Yardley extended his lead over Dickinson, solidifying his second-place position.

Ahead of him, teammate Tyler Maxson maintained his lead, setting the fastest laps to extend his advantage over Yardley.
Although Stewart initially held her position after the restart, she lost ground two laps later when Reimann passed her and quickly moved up another two spots.
Despite being overtaken, Stewart kept pace with Metni and reclaimed the position the following lap, beginning to close the two-second gap to Martinez.
Matheus Leist, running in 10th, encountered an issue that forced him to pit, dropping him behind Stewart.
In the final five minutes, Sabre Cook went off deep into the gravel trap and became stuck. Unable to free her car, a second safety car was deployed to recover the Porsche.
With the white flag shown, the race concluded two minutes early under safety car conditions.

Stewart finished 15th after being narrowly overtaken by Metni in the final moments, ending just one position behind her starting spot.
Maxson’s pace secured the Topp Racing driver his maiden victory in the series.
Yardley held off Dickinson to claim second place, adding another podium to his weekend and closing the championship gap to just two points.
The Carrera Cup North America will then take a month-and-a-half hiatus before resuming at Indianapolis from September 19th to 21st.
