If you are intending to race in either the 1, or 3-hour NIEDC Endurance Championship Series but have not formally entered yet, then you have until midnight tomorrow, the 19th of August to enter either race and go into the draw to win a brand new set of Michelin race rubber to suit your race car.
As of today there are 25 entries for the 1 hour race and 14 entries for the 3 hour, according to NIERDC President David Dovey. Dovey said, that they were surprised and delighted to have nearly 10 entries in total a month out from the first endurance race’s at Hampton Downs on the 19th of September.
“I fully expect that by the close of late entries on the 17th of September, we will have in excess of 50 entries in total which is very encouraging due to the challenges we all face with the Covid-19 scenario. Its also now very helpful that the election date has now been moved to the 17th of October a week before our second and last round on the 24th October at Pukekohe Park Raceway” said Dovey.
