Up and coming GT youngster Regan Scoullar has taken the round win at round four of the GT New Zealand Championship at Manfeild Circuit Chris Amon this weekend, while the duo of Glen Chappel and Tom Bewley have taken the round win in GT4.

Scoullar secured the round win following his three second placings across the weekend’s three races.
There was heartbreak for Championship contender Nigel Cromie, having been deemed underweight post-race following race two of the weekend, which he won. It was a blow to his Championship, having closed the gap to leader Rick Armstrong.
Championship leader Rick Armstrong had a rough weekend with a crash in qualifying, managing two podiums, which included a win in race two of the weekend, following Cromie’s demotion.
With Scoullar winning the round, Sam Fillmore was second, with Rick Armstrong third.
Glen Chappel took the win in race one of the weekend in GT4, William Exton won the second race, and the duo of Chappel and Tom Bewley won the 50-minute feature race.
For the round, the duo of Glen Chappel and Tom Bewley took victory, followed by Allan Sargeant and William Exton in the sister Toyota Supra GT4. The Audi R8 of Grant Aitken and Greg Murphy was third for the weekend.

After four rounds, Rick Armstrong leads on 929 points, Cromie second on 823.5, with Sam Fillmore third on 786.5.
In GT4, Glen Chappel leads on 974.5, followed by Grant Aitken on 858.5, with Allan Sargeant third on 793.
The GT New Zealand Championship now has a seven-week break before the final round at Ruapuna Park in Christchurch.
With three more races to run, both championships can be won or lost!
