Tony Quinn Foundation Ambassador Zack Scoular kicks off his 2025 Eurocup-3 campaign this weekend at Austria’s Red Bull Ring, linking up with Palou Motorsport for his rookie season in the highly competitive European series.
Zack arrives in Europe off the back of a standout summer in the Castrol Toyota Formula Regional Oceania Championship — his first time racing on New Zealand circuits — where he burst onto the scene with pole and victory on debut at Taupō.

The 17-year-old Kiwi went on to finish second overall in the championship, only behind current F2 star Arvid Lindblad.
Earlier this year, Zack gained further experience with Palou Motorsport in the final two rounds of the Eurocup-3 Winter Series, using the opportunity to get up to speed in European machinery and build rapport with the team. While results were modest, the track time proved valuable ahead of his full-season campaign.
“The vibe with Palou Motorsport has been great, and I’ve been settling in very well. The ethos of the team is built around ‘family’. The team has the passion to win. Palou makes himself personally available to help coach and develop the drivers. I’ve really enjoyed working with Alex and the team and look forward to the year ahead.” said Scoular
“The Eurocup-3 car has definitely taken a lot of adjusting to after coming out of CTFROC. This has included learning how to use ‘push to pass’, adjusting to more downforce, racing on Grade 1 Formula 1 tracks, and driving on a different tyre.
“I am really enjoying the characteristics of the Eurocup-3 car and the championship. The tracks are awesome.”
Now, with pre-season testing complete, it’s all eyes on Round 1 at the Red Bull Ring — a circuit famed for its elevation changes, flowing corners and stunning Styrian setting. With two Qualifying sessions and two Races across the weekend, Zack will be looking to lay down a strong foundation as he begins his next chapter on the international stage.

Zack hits the track for the first time on Friday night (NZT) with Practice, followed by Qualifying and the opening Race.
The action continues on Saturday night with the second Qualifying session and Race 2 — both races will be streamed live on the Eurocup-3 YouTube channel. If you want to follow along live, full session times are listed below!
