Voting remains open for Supercars’ Fans’ Choice awards

Voting remains open in three categories for the Supercars’ “Fans’ Choice” awards for this season. The awards will be presented at the end of year Repco Supercars Championship Gala Awards.

Fans are invited to participate in a brief questionnaire where they can cast their vote for the “Most Popular Driver”, “Best Presented Team” and “Best Event”.

Will Shane van Gisbergen be able to replicate his successes behind the wheel in the popularity contest or could we see another Kiwi prevail? Or will the award go to an Australian?

The best presented award relates to the livery, team uniform and overall presentation of a team. Competition in this category should be tight with a range of special liveries, including indigenous and retro, utilised throughout the season.

The best event category also sees fans able to vote for their favourite race meet, the Pukekohe SuperSprint up against the likes of the Bathurst 1000, Darwin Triple Crown and Gold Coast 500.

With a successful year for New Zealand motorsport, we can only hope fans recognise their achievements and get behind the drivers and teams they support.

Voting can be submitted here.
