James Courtney has opened up onto why he decided to quit Team Sydney with immediate effect after only one race weekend.
Speaking on Channel Ten’s motorsport talk show RPM, Courtney explained how he could no longer commit to the team after a particular aspect of his contractual deal with the squad would not be honoured.
While that certain deal was not detailed, what was interesting was how Courtney openly admitted that within an hour of his departure from Team Sydney he had received calls from three current Supercar teams about possible roles within their respective outfits.
