New Zealand IndyCar driver Scott Dixon scored his 53rd win in the series over the weekend at the Music City Grand Prix in Nashville, breaking his tie with Mario Andretti for second-most wins in the series’ history.
Dixon now sits just 14 wins off record holder Anthony Joseph Foyt Jr. (A. J. Foyt) who amassed a total of 67 victories between 1956 and 1995 in IndyCar.
Fellow New Zealand driver Scott McLaughlin also finished in second place for what was an all-Kiwi top two.
