Louis Foster has burst onto the New Zealand motor-racing scene, smashing the opposition in his very first race only 48 hours after arriving in the country.

Foster is a 19-year-old racing driver from Odiham in Hampshire, now living in the USA; and is the son of former British Touring Car Championship racer Nick Foster; Louis graduated into car racing on the back of a successful karting career and displayed his talent immediately with securing the Rookie Championship in the 2017 Ginetta Junior Winter Series.

In the 2018 Ginetta Junior Series, he secured the Rookie Championship and was Vice Champion, with an impressive list of record-breaking results. In 2019, Louis made his debut in single-seaters as he contested the British F4 Championship with Double R Racing, finishing his multiple race-winning seasons in 3rd place.

In 2020 Louis rejoined Double R Racing as he stepped up to the BRDC British F3 Championship, where an impressive season-long performance earned him the Rookie Championship and 3rd Place overall. In addition. In 2020 Louis made his Euroformula debut at Spa and made an immediate impact with a race win and a guest appearance in the MRF Championship in Chennai, where again he took a maiden race victory.

In 2022 Louis took the prestigious Indy Pro 2000 series by storm in what was his rookie season and his first racing in the USA, where he won on ovals and street circuits, the likes of which he had never competed before; He wrapped up the championship two races early. He scored seven wins, five poles and won the championship by 61 points.
