It’s a long weekend, and there’s plenty of action to take in!

Shane van Gisbergen returns to action in the Xfinity Series, heading out for an oval outing at Richmond Raceway.

Mitch Evans and Nick Cassidy continue their Formula E seasons in Japan, with Evans making his 100th start. Louis Sharp’s 2024 campaign gets underway in the GB3 Championship, while Mount Panorama roars to life with the Bathurst 6-Hour, with a large contingent of Kiwis taking part.

For all the information you need, including New Zealand times and how to watch, see below!

The Xfinity Series is back to oval racing as they descend on Richmond Raceway, a short 0.75-mile, D-shaped track in Virginia.

It’s a slightly earlier Sunday morning for Kiwi fans to watch the one-day event, with van Gisbergen entering the round in 14th in the standings.

British Formula 4 Champion Louis Sharp begins his GB3 campaign with Rodin Motorsport at Oulton Park this weekend.

Sharp showed strong pace across all pre-season testing and is expected to challenge towards the front of the field.

The long weekend sees the action carry over to early next week, with no racing on Easter Sunday.

Bathurst 6-Hour

  • Where? Mount Panorama, Bathurst
  • NZ Times:
    • P1: Friday 12.40 pm
    • P2: Friday 7.00 pm
    • P3: Saturday 11.05 am
    • Qualifying: Saturday 3.40 pm
    • Race: Sunday 1.45 pm- 7.45 pm
  • How to follow: Live timing

A large Kiwi contingent has made the trip to Mount Panorama to compete in Bathurst’s Largest Enduro.

The mix includes an all-Kiwi RX8 Cup entry, an all-Kiwi Wolfbrook Motorsport contingent, a 2024 Toyota 86 Championship lineup, and a pair of Highlands Motorsport Park drivers.

Steve Brooks, Bill Riding, and Glan Chappel team up in a Mercedes AMG A45 in Class A1 (extreme performance, forced induction), while Highlands’ drivers Paul Blomqvist and Kynan Yu share a BMW M2 Coupe with Kent Quinn in the same class.

Nigel Hanley joins the father and son duo of Andy Duffin and Liam Duffin, who will compete in a Mazda RX8 in Class D (Production), ticking an event off their bucket lists as they take on Mount Panorama for the first time.

New Zealand Toyota 86 Championship competitors Tayler Bryant, Summer Rintoule, and Hunter Robb will drive a Toyota 86 GT in the same class, while Alice Buckley will team up with Jack Wood and Jaylen Robotham at BPRO/six80 Racing, also in an 86.

Unfortunately Kiwis will be left in the dark for this event with no live stream, however live timing can be followed on Natsoft.
