Le Mans 24 Hour postponed for second successive year

The opening legs of the revised FIA Formula 2 and FIA Formula 3 calendars have been announced, with both championships scheduled to commence in Austria next month.

Although Formula 1 had already announced their plans to return to racing, it was still unknown regarding the support races due to restrictions related to mass gatherings.

However, both F2 and F3 have announced they will follow the F1 calendar for the opening part of the season, supporting the first eight grands prix of the year.

The season will begin at the Red Bull Ring in early July, running back-to-back rounds before heading to the Hungaroring on July 17.

Another double header will be held at Silverstone Circuit in August before heading the Catalunya, Spa and Monza.

All races will be held behind closed doors and will be run in accordance with strict safety protocol.

The championship was originally scheduled to begin at the Bahrain International Circuit in March, however those plans were eradicated following the cancellation of the event.
