For the first time since his title-winning campaign in 2023, Tony Quinn Foundation Ambassador Callum Hedge is back behind the wheel of a Porsche, as the Kiwi prepares to make his Porsche Carrera Cup North America debut this weekend at Sebring International Raceway.

It marks a change of direction for Callum, who has spent the past two seasons competing in Indy NXT as he chased a pathway toward IndyCar. Across that period, he delivered a number of standout performances, finishing fourth overall in 2024, before backing it up with a strong and consistent second half to the 2025 season to finish seventh in the standings.
Now, his focus shifts back to GT racing, with his long-term ambitions centred around endurance competition, including the IMSA SportsCar Championship and the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
With that renewed direction, Porsche Carrera Cup North America presents the perfect platform. Returning to Porsche machinery, where he has already enjoyed success, Callum now steps into one of the most competitive one-make categories in the region, racing on some of North America’s most iconic circuits alongside major national and international series.

For 2026, Callum will line up with JDX Racing, piloting the #9 Porsche 911 (992 II) GT3 Cup car as he takes on the full eight-round championship, beginning this weekend in Florida.
Track action gets underway tomorrow, with two Practice sessions giving Callum his first opportunity to get up to speed at Sebring. Qualifying and Race 1 follow early Saturday morning NZT, before the second 40-minute race of the weekend takes place on Sunday, scheduled to get underway at 10:45am NZT.
If you want to follow Callum’s progress live, coverage will be available free via the IMSA website and YouTube channel, with the full weekend schedule outlined below.

Best of luck this weekend, Callum, great to see you back behind the wheel of a Porsche!
