Kiwis Born to Fly 3 – Production in New Zealand and Indianapolis nears completion

The Kiwis: Born to Fly story has had a busy period in recent months. A series of interviews will take place in Indianapolis, Brownsburg, and domestically within Auckland and Hampton Downs.

These form the foundation of the opening section to this final instalment of the Kiwis – Born to Fly Series. Post Production at Auckland’s Number 6 Post has commenced with scripting and narration for these completed sections well underway.

The next phase is to have these fully completed by late September, when the team heads back to the U.S. and the Road Atlanta circuit for the IMSA Petit Le Mans 10-hour event, which features a host of Kiwis to be included within this edition of Kiwis – Born to Fly.

“The people we have spoken with so far are fine examples of just what this sport is all about “, commented producer David Turner.

“The passion they all have, the desire to create a great future for the sport and the legacy that they follow have amounted to some very compelling words and given much thought.

We intend this to be reflected in how our viewers will ultimately see this edition, to reflect this passion, it’s one we firmly share and believe in, and these are all factors that led us to start this whole process of Kiwis – Born to Fly several years ago now”.

The team at IMSA in the U.S. have allowed the production to attend this event as an official media company. This will enable the team to capture a variety of content during the production time in Atlanta in early October.

With so many Kiwis across various classes, this will create a well-rounded story of more Kiwi success, combined with more areas where, once again, New Zealand can take pride in its position in world Motorsport.

For those that missed the second edition, it continues to screen on the nation’s airline on all international services. It will also feature in a month’s time on the CRC Motorsport show on Sunday afternoons on TV3.

Further information on the content and screening details will follow in the coming months. Perspective Group equally thanks Sky NZ and Sport Nation radio for the ongoing support they provide.

Presenting sponsors are Mansons, Tasman Motorsports Group, Hampton Downs Academy, Creme Insurance, Giltrap Group, AutoPark, Racetech and Harcourt’s. The support of these fine sponsors enables this final instalment of Kiwis – Born to Fly to happen, and we acknowledge their valuable contribution.
