MotorSport New Zealand’s hit podcast, The Inside Line, is heading to TVNZ+, becoming the latest addition to the broadcaster’s expanding podcast catalogue just four months after its launch.

Launched in March 2026, The Inside Line, proudly supported by Mount Shop, has quickly established itself as New Zealand’s premier motorsport podcast. After only 17 episodes, the weekly show will now be available on TVNZ+, joining a growing line-up of premium local podcasts including Between Two Beers, What a Lad, and other leading New Zealand productions.

Hosted by one of the country’s most recognised motorsport broadcasters, Stephen McIvor, The Inside Line brings audiences closer to the people, personalities and stories driving New Zealand motorsport. Each week, the show delivers exclusive interviews, race analysis and behind-the-scenes insights from grassroots club competition through to the international stage.

The addition to TVNZ+ significantly expands the reach of New Zealand motorsport, placing the stories of local clubs, competitors, officials and events in front of one of the country’s largest digital audiences.

MotorSport New Zealand President, Deborah Day, says the partnership is another important step in growing the profile of the sport.

“The Inside Line was created to tell the stories that don’t always make mainstream headlines but deserve to be heard,” said Day.

“New Zealand motorsport is filled with incredible people achieving remarkable things every week, and this partnership gives those stories the audience they deserve.

“To be welcomed onto TVNZ+ so soon after launching is a fantastic endorsement of the show’s quality and relevance. It’s exciting not only for the podcast, but for every club, volunteer, competitor and event organiser whose stories will now be showcased on one of New Zealand’s leading digital platforms.”

Since launching, The Inside Line has featured some of the biggest names in New Zealand motorsport alongside emerging talent and grassroots heroes, while covering everything from Formula 1 and Supercars to club-level motorsport.

The move to TVNZ+ further cements The Inside Line as the country’s leading dedicated motorsport podcast and reinforces MotorSport New Zealand’s commitment to growing the visibility of the sport through innovative digital storytelling.

New episodes of The Inside Line will continue to premiere every Wednesday and will be available on TVNZ+, YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts and other major podcast platforms.
