Local pricing and specification for the Porsche Taycan has been announced, with dealers now taking orders for Porsche’s first all-electric sports car.

The models available include the 4S, the Turbo, and the Turbo S. The Turbo generates up to 500kW (680hp) of overboost power and in combination with Launch Control can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds with a range of 420km. The Turbo S pumps out 560kW (761hp) and accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds. It has a range of 405 km when the battery is fully charged. The Turbo and Turbo S will be priced from $NZ289,900 and $NZ366,900, respectively.

All three models will be equipped with Surround View, Comfort Access, Lane Change Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, front seat ventilation, steering wheel heating, rear side airbags, electrically folding exterior mirrors, digital radio and privacy glazing, as standard.

Additional standard equipment for the 4S includes 20-inch Taycan Sport Aero wheels, metallic paint, front seat heating, 14-way electric comfort seats, Auto-dimming mirrors as well as the BOSE Surround Sound system. Furthermore, the Turbo and Turbo S will also gain driving dynamic and comfort features like Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) Sport, four-zone Advanced Climate Control and ambient lighting.
