Roush Performance have announced the launch of their all new virtual iRacing League.
The Roush name is synonymous with the production of aftermarket performance parts for Ford vehicles, namely the Ford Mustang. But the company also boasts a strong involvement in motorsport, playing active roles in the realm of NASCAR and American stock car racing.
The Roush Performance iRacing League will be held across four races, the first event being an All-Star Race and will be contested by a field of professional racing drivers. The following three events will be open for public participation.
Drivers will race the Ford GT GTLM racing car with a locked default set up, prioritising in-game skill over car performance.
Road America will play host to the All-Star race which gets underway from 11.30 am NZT April 16 and will be streamed live via the Roush Performance Facebook account.
