Scoular Confirms 2025 plans following CTFROC Success

Zack Scoular, the 2025 Castrol Toyota Formula Regional Oceania Championship Rookie of the Year, has announced his next move, joining Palau Motorsport for the upcoming Eurocup-3 season.

Based in the UAE for most of his junior career, Scoular was relatively unknown on this side of the world before this year’s CTFROC season. His performance over those five weeks however, dramatically changed that.

His debut at Taupo Motorsport Park in January was nothing short of spectacular. He secured pole position and a race victory, outpacing established names like Supercars champion Will Brown and Red Bull Junior driver Arvid Lindblad. This immediate success showcased not only his impressive speed but also his composure under pressure.

While Lindblad ultimately claimed the championship title, Scoular’s consistent performance throughout the season earned him a well-deserved second-place finish in the Standings.

Scoular closed his rookie season with a second-place finish in the 69th running of the New Zealand Grand Prix at Highlands Motorsport Park last weekend.

Following his CTFROC campaign, speculation surrounded Scoular’s next move. This morning, that speculation ended with the announcement of his signing with Palau Motorsport for the 2025 Eurocup-3 season.

Palau Motorsport, founded by reigning IndyCar Series champion Alex Palau, is a team with proven potential, having secured three podium finishes in its inaugural season in 2023. While not yet title contenders, the team’s ambition and Scoular’s talent create a compelling partnership poised for significant progress this season.

The 2025 EuroCup 3 season will consist of eight rounds spread across seven countries, a testament to the series’ international reach. The season begins at the Red Bull Ring in Austria, over May 16-18, marking the beginning of what promises to be an exciting new chapter for this rapidly rising star.
