In August last year, kiwi Rally driver Hayden Paddon revealed plans to take motorsport into the future by developing an all-electric Rally car.
At the project’s launch Paddon said the car would be Paddon said the car would be “a show-stopper” and capable of running full length rallies. Bu almost a year on and little has been heard from Paddon Rallysport about the car.
Now, in a video published to his Facebook account, Paddon lifts the covers off the project and gives us an update into how the build has been coming along. Check out the clip below:
So for the first time, we pull the covers off our EV Rally Car to update you on our build progress. With lockdown presently in place it means we will see a delay to the project but it will still be seen at some events later in 2020. It’s a project and car we are all incredibly excited about and to showcase what EV technology is capable of in a rally environment.
