Walkinshaw Andretti United has revealed the Mobil 1 Truck Assist Racing #2 Ford Mustang GT, which Ryan Wood will racing in the 2025 Supercars Championship.

This year, the #2 Mustang that Wood will campaign will showcase familiar colors, but with a more prominent presence of Truck Assist Orange throughout the look.

When asked of his thoughts of the new livery, Wood replied “The Mobil 1 Truck Assist Mustang looks amazing, it’s a level up on last year’s design, I am super excited to hit the track in Sydney to show the black, orange and white rocket off under lights.”

Wood kicks off his second full-time season in Supercars this year, building on an impressive rookie campaign, where he achieved seven top-ten race finishes, a front-row start in Wanneroo, and a commendable 16th place in the Drivers Championship.

With a few near misses in 2024, Wood is eager to secure a spot on the podium this year, but he’s fully aware of the challenges that await him.

“It’s going to be a huge year,” said Wood as he gears up for the 2025 season. “Year two isn’t going to be any easier than year one so we’ve been putting in a heap of work to continue to move forward – we want some trophies this year that’s for sure”

With a 14-week break between the season ending Adelaide 500 and this year’s season opening Sydney 500, Wood is itching to get back behind the wheel.

“It’s been far too long since Adelaide, I’ve been annoying everyone in at work just wanting to drive the Mobil 1 Truck Assist Racing Mustang, so I’m counting down the days before the test and Round 1, can’t wait to get stuck in.”

Wood will take the wheel of the newly wrapped Mustang on Wednesday, February 19th, at Sydney Motorsport Park for the official preseason test day. This will be followed by the season-opener of the 2025 Supercars Championship, the Sydney 500 which will take place a few days later over February 21-23.
